The 13th Asian Conference on Biomass Science
Biomass utilization is expected to have an important role in realizing a sustainable society. In Asia, especially in Southeast Asian countries, which are rich in various biomass resources, the conversion of unused biomass uncompetitive with food production into energy and materials is a promising solution to fossil resource substitution and environmental protection. From this point of view, the Asian Conference on Biomass Science (ACBS) has been launched in fiscal 2013 as an international conference aiming at academic discussions on effective utilization of biomass resources in Asian countries, led by the Biomass Division of the Japan Institute of Energy. The 13th ACBS is held on the face-to-face onsite basis in November 2025 in Aomori Pref., Japan. All the students, researchers and those who are interested in biomass utilization in Asian countries are welcome to join and submit papers to the 13th ACBS. If you wish, the extended abstract will be published in a special issue of the Journal of the Japan Institute of Energy after peer review.
